What is Skinvive?
SKINVIVE by Juvéderm is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable which improves skin smoothness of the cheeks. Unlike other injectables that fill out the skin, Dr. Aurora DeJuliis uses Skinvive to improve skin quality in the cheeks by smoothing the skin and increasing hydration.
Injected as microdroplets below the surface of the skin, Skinvive increases hydration to improve the skin smoothness and provides a lasting glow for up to six months. Think of it as a hydration drink, delivered intradermally, for the skin!

Is the Skinvive treatment painful?
Skinvive contains lidocaine to reduce any associated pain at the injection site pain. If you are concerned about pain, Dr DeJuliis can numb the treatment area with a topical or injected numbing agent to further minimize discomfort. Ice can also be applied for a brief period following treatment to minimize swelling and reduce pain.
What should I do (or not do) after a Skinvive treatment?
For the first 24 hours after Skinvive, avoid alcoholic beverages, strenuous exercise, and exposure to extensive sun and heat.
When will I see results after my Skinvive treatment?
Skinvive provides results over the course of six months.
